More about me

My Travel Story

As a lifelong travel enthusiast, I believe the best journeys are the ones that allow you to truly experience a destination—not simply check it off a list.

I love all kinds of travel, from wandering through India’s historic cities and vibrant art museums to chasing the thrill of adventure with a 219-metre bungee jump—the country’s highest free-fall experience. I’ve experienced the peaceful, spiritual side of the Uttarakhand mountains, spending time in the holy city of Rishikesh, the yoga capital of the world, where I had the opportunity to practice yoga surrounded by the serenity of the Ganges and Himalayan foothills. My time in Punta Cana and Jamaica allowed me to experience the laid-back beauty of the Caribbean, from turquoise waters and stunning beaches to vibrant local culture, music, and island life. In Tokyo, I spent a day navigating the energy and creativity of the city—from exploring its malls and unique arcade culture to visiting pandas at the zoo and finding moments of tranquility in traditional Japanese Zen gardens. Each experience reminded me that sometimes the most memorable parts of a trip are found in the unexpected places.

Working in the travel industry has given me the opportunity to explore not only well-known destinations, but also the hidden gems that can be easy to miss. I’m fascinated by undiscovered towns, local experiences, and finding things to do that may not appear on the typical tourist checklist. To me, discovering these lesser-known corners offers a deeper understanding of a destination and the people, culture, and stories that make it special. I bring that same curiosity and dedication to every trip I plan for my clients. I take the time to understand their interests, travel style, and what they hope to experience, because I believe the most meaningful itineraries are personal. I approach travel planning with the same in-depth research I use for my own adventures, looking beyond the obvious to find experiences that feel authentic and truly suited to each traveler. And my learning never stops. Beyond researching destinations, I regularly participate in industry training and stay up to date on new cruise ships, itineraries, tours, and travel experiences. This allows me to continually expand my knowledge and bring fresh ideas to my clients.

For me, travel is about more than seeing new places. It’s about discovering something new about the world—and sometimes, something new about yourself along the way. My goal is to help my clients experience those moments through thoughtfully planned journeys that feel uniquely their own.

To travel is to take a journey into yourself. (Danny Kaye)

My Favourite Destination

India

  • Adventure in the mountains in Rishikesh - My adrenaline rush has taken me to Rishikesh, where I embraced the adventurous side of India with a thrilling bungee jump high above the Uttarakhand mountains and white-water rafting along the Ganges. It’s the kind of experience that gets your heart racing while surrounding you with some of India’s most spectacular natural landscapes.
  • Culture, cuisine, and wildlife - I love how effortlessly India takes you from the energy and hustle of vibrant cities, where you can shop, explore, and indulge in flavorful local street food, to unforgettable wildlife and cultural experiences. In Jaipur, I ventured into the wild on a safari at Jhalana Leopard Park in search of leopards, then immersed myself in the Pink City’s beautifully preserved royal heritage. Beyond the city, I explored Rajasthan’s desert dunes by camel and ended the day enjoying the soulful sounds of traditional Rajasthani music. It’s this incredible mix of adventure, culture, history, and local experiences that makes every journey through India feel completely unique.
  • Finding serenity in nature - When I’m craving a slower pace and complete serenity, I head to the hills of Uttarakhand. There’s something incredibly special about escaping the energy of the cities and settling into the mountains, surrounded by peaceful landscapes and fresh mountain air. It’s a side of India that reminds me that sometimes the best part of travel is simply slowing down and taking in where you are.

TRAVEL
TIPS

Leave a little room for flexibility in your itinerary

Changes in weather, a shift in mood, or an unexpected discovery can sometimes take you in a completely different direction—and lead to an experience that turns out to be even better than what you originally planned. Keeping an open mind and allowing yourself to embrace the unexpected can create some of the most memorable moments of a trip, and often, the best travel stories are the ones you never planned to tell.
