My Travel Story
I have been in the travel industry for thirty years. After going to Westervelt College I volunteered in an agency to gain experience and was hires by that agency. I started as a Government of Canada booking Agent.I then moved into the quality control to check over tickets and ended my career there as a manager of vacation and corporate travel. When the agency was down sized I moved to other agencies.
I have worked in all areas of travel corporate travel, vacation packages, building custom vacation packages, group travel and wedding groups. I have a loyal customer base that follows me for my knowledge, experience and thinking outside the box.
My love for travel started as a child when I left Canada at age four to live overseas for thirteen years. I have lived in Peru, Jamaica and England. I have also lived in Montreal. I have traveled to Mexico both coasts, across Canada, multiple cities in the USA, both Disney Resorts, Europe, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Cuba, Nassau, both coasts of the Dominican Republic and India.
I really enjoy my job as it is changes every year and I keep learning. I enjoy meeting people and helping them plan their dream wedding. I can qualify what they want and make suggestions suited to their wants and dreams. I personally enjoy all types of vacations big cities, beach, cultural and active vacations.
I have volunteered for The Red Cross, Heart and Stoke, Diabetes and Asthma. I sat on a board of directors for a housing Co-op in the city.
